Whale watching coastal Day Tour
Come and see the whales of South Africa with SOUL Day Tours! Our qualified field guides will take you on a spectacular route along the south west coast to Hermanus, on the edge of Walker Bay, recognised by WWF for Nature as one of the top land-based whale watching spots on earth! Expect to see Hump-back and Southern Right and possibly even Bryde’s Whales! If we’re lucky we can also watch Bottlenose or Common Dolphins.
Along the way we visit the African Penguin colony at Stony Point (where whales might also be seen) and the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens, a showcase of the indigenous Fynbos of the area! Weather permitting guests can go on a boat trip to get a closer view of the whales – optional, of course. A 2 course lunch is included at Hermanus.
